Accessibility statement
Last updated : 2026-08-14
Bashouk should be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We are working towards the Israeli standard IS 5568 part 1, which is aligned with WCAG 2.0 level AA.
Where we stand
Accessibility work is under way and is not finished. We would rather say so plainly than claim a level of conformance we have not reached. This page lists what is done, what is not, and how to reach us if something blocks you.
What is in place
- Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator and a link that jumps straight to the main content.
- Page structure marked up (header, navigation, main content, footer) for screen readers.
- Colour contrast chosen to meet level AA, in both light and dark themes.
- Layout stays usable up to 200% zoom and on small screens.
- Alternative text on images that carry information.
- Animations turned off when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Interface available in French, English and Hebrew, with genuine right-to-left support.
What is not done yet
The following points are known and being fixed:
- Form error messages are not yet tied to their field in a way a screen reader can use.
- The heading hierarchy has not yet been checked page by page.
- Some hint texts are shown at a small size and will be enlarged.
- A full screen reader test of the registration and ordering journeys is still to be done.
- The mobile application has not yet had accessibility work.
